Puerto Escondido
Puerto Escondido is incredibly relaxed, has the best beaches in entire Mexico and such a chill vibe that you can’t do anything else but relax. And for the record, I’m not a beach person (sun unfortunately burns me real quick :/). Meaning I am picky concerning beaches and I hardly ever talk high about them. Puerto Escondido though…. Really great beaches, amazing sunsets and I don’t know anybody who didn’t get stuck here and stayed longer 😊 – Including myself. Twice 😀 Unnecessary to mention that Puerto Escondido is one of my favourite places in Mexico, right? 😉

Playa Zicatela
The insanely long and beautiful beach in the Backpacker's Area in Puerto Escondido. Totally chill and just a dream.
Viewpoint Punta Romance
To the left the view over Playa Zicatela, to the right Playa Principal. From downstairs not high, but a reall nice surprise from above.
Playa Principal
The "Playa Pricipal" or better the main beach. At least from Puerto Escondido. Here you will find the most locals and the fewest tourists.
Streets
The streets of Puerto Escondido away from the beaches and in the middle of somewhere normally no tourists would ever find themselves - between Puerto Escondido and Zicatela.
Playa Bacocho
A wide dream of a beach with white sand, palms in the left corner and wonderful blue water. And in the evenings they liberate turtles here.
Playa Coral
The Playa Coral is the smallest of the beaches, but therefore the bay is painted in blue water and a vibe of calmth, quietness and peace.
Playa Angelito
A small and pretty bay with a lot of boats and plenty of possibility to explore to the left and the right.
Sufers's Spot
At the Surfer's Spot you don't just always see surfers waiting for the next wave in the water, but also the best sunsets of entire México.
Punta Zicatela
A viewpoint at the far left end of Playa Zicatela, from which you have a beautiful view on the entire beach and the big wide ocean behind.
Playa Punta Colorado
The perfect mix of beach, viewpoint and sunset. And honestly really beautiful.
