Maastricht - Small, quietly sweet
Maastricht is a sweet, cute Dutch (I have a friend who lives in the Netherlands. Believe me, they’ll behead you if you say Holland `:D) small town, just over the border from Germany. It’s pretty much one of the perfect day trip destinations from Cologne, but it’s also well worth a visit if you’re in the Netherlands. Maastricht has everything you need: a river to chill by, a few cute churches, a pretty big park with a really cool view at the end and a cute centre with a shopping mile and candy shop 😛 ;P ;D
