Mazatlán doesn’t really have that much to offer, but the view from the platform next to the lighthouse is honestly cool!
The viewpoint is located at the left end of the beach and the beach promenade, and there is an easy to moderately difficult ‘steep’ path that winds its way up the mountain to the top. There you will find the lighthouse and a view that is really cool.
You can see the harbour and the beach, and on the right, the part of Mazatlán which is completely untouristy and therefore not particularly well visited. And at the end of the path, when I came back down, there was a totally cute cat 😊
Go or not? If you’re in Mazatlán, you shouldn’t miss the viewpoint. It’s definitely the coolest thing you can see and do in Mazatlán.
