Incredibly cute, super interesting and my personal highlight in San Miguel de Allende!
You know when you literally expect nothing and then get really blown away? I rarely have that and the chances of this happening to me with a museum are about 1 in a million. But this museum is so incredibly cute and really just cool that it has managed to make an extremely positive impression on me.
I admit that I perhaps reacted a little more strongly to the museum than other people would because I simply am a child inside. Like my soul has retained the child. And this museum is simply full of incredibly cool and unusual toys. I mean I saw super cute miniature things that just made me melt.
In case someone now thinks ‘Come on it’s just toys.’ – Well yes and no. Not one of the toys I saw exists in Europe. There were a few things that were similar in sense of type or appearance – railways, miniature furniture (for dolls’ houses, for example) and dolls. At the same time, however, I have never seen around 90 per cent of the toys of the entire museum before. Not in any way. It was simply a cultural diversity from an entire different world. It was really just too cute. And the museum itself is not big, but neither are the things themselves. Meaning you really have a lot to see in a comparatively small space.
And please just let the pictures inspire you. But know that it’s only a fraction of what I saw and what’s there. 

Go or not? As it was my absolute highlight, yes, definitely. If you only have one day, I would rather enjoy San Miguel de Allende. If you have an extra day, I would definitely put it on my agenda. And if you’re not into that sort of thing: Fools 😀 😉
