I like the surfer spot in Puerto Escondido because watching the surfers on their boards has a mesmerising effect. At the same time, it has by far the most fantastic view of the sunset in Puerto Escondido. Surfers at sunset… a picture for the gods – in all seriousness and honesty.
In fact, the surfer spot is not really a spot in its own right and you can surf elsewhere in Puerto Escondido, but! It’s just the spot where most surfers bob around in a heap waiting for the next best wave.
As I can’t surf, I let myself be mesmerised by the view and enjoyed the sunsets and tried to capture the view with my camera.
