San Miguel de Allende is a chilled and relaxed little town in the north of Mexico. The centre of San Miguel de Allende is still quite lively and crowded both during the day and at night. However, if you move away from the centre a little, you quickly get to know the real San Miguel de Allende. The difference isn’t that big, but the stroll is really nice 😊 It’s very quiet and peaceful and the atmosphere is generally very relaxed.
What I personally particularly liked about San Miguel de Allende was that, despite being a small town, there are also very beautiful spots outside the centre that are super easy to discover during a walk around. Apart from that, San Miguel de Allende has these narrow, winding streets that often lead up and down a bit, which gives the town an incredible charm. 😊
Go or not? San Miguel de Allende itself is definitely worth a visit. And while you’re there, I would also take a quick stroll through the streets and get to know San Miguel de Allende 😊
