I discovered the Maastricht Wall by chance. I just wanted to go for a walk and explore the streets of Maastricht that weren’t directly in the centre or around the corner from me. And so I came across this really beautiful, peaceful and harmonious neighbourhood, discovered the little river, ducks and a bridge and finally found the opportunity to ‘climb’ the wall. Although climbing is the wrong word. It’s very easy to get up the stairs. The view at the top is really…. It’s just really beautiful. It’s peaceful and quiet and you can easily sit on the wall and just relax and enjoy the view. It’s a bit like you can feel the real Maastricht here. So you should definitely go there. It’s a very relaxing and peaceful place and… at the same time you’re outside, getting some exercise and actually taking some really nice photos 😀
