There is exactly one reason why Metropolis made it onto my blog: I think that the programme is quite cool and the prices are still quite okay in comparison. We still have the Residenz (cinema of the rich) and the Cinedom at Hansaring, for example, where you also pay a lot. In contrast, the Metropolis is a cat that you can make purr by the low level of the prices. apart from that, it has an antique and very cosy flair. The cinema halls are cute, the staff is usually very nice and… I just like the cinema. It’s a bit old-fashioned – it still has that old cinema charm – but you feel right at home. I think it only has 4 cinema halls. Means: If you ever want to go to the cinema in Cologne, the Metropolis should be at the top of your “to be checked” list 🙂
