Big, impressive and truly beautiful 😊 I’ve seen quite a few impressive waterfalls on my journey through Mexico, Cuba and Central America. I’d say this one is definitely one of the more impressive ones.
It’s relatively easy to reach in a day trip from a nearby village or San Buenaventura – which is right next to the waterfall. Once there, you walk through an area with picnic spots and a sort of small lake, where you can also take a dip a little before the waterfall.
At the end of the path, you’ll find the Cataratas de Pulhapanzak. A beautiful waterfall that you can admire from various differently levelled points.
Worth a visit? Yes, definitely. The Cataratas de Pulhapanzak are truly beautiful and well worth seeing 😊
