There are several parks in and near San Miguel de Allende. Two of them are located right next to each other just outside the centre and can be characterised by their tranquillity and very relaxed atmosphere.
In the park ‘Benito Juárez’ there is a small pavilion, a basketball court and a few benches where you can chill out.
In park ‘El Chorro’, you walk up a kind of stone-paved path to a building from where you have a nice view of the park through the trees and the path leading up to the building.
Neither park is spectacular, but both are very sweet, peaceful and a good place to calm down a bit.
Go or not? If you have a bit of time left and have already seen the rest of San Miguel de Allende, go. Otherwise I would prioritise other things 😊
